Menashe Ozrapour, Holocaust survivor

Following the end of World War II, Menashe Ozrapour found himself among the thousands of displaced persons in post-war Europe. Orphaned, stateless, and deeply traumatized, he faced a world that had been forever altered. Yet, even in the face of this devastation, Menashe refused to let hatred define his future.

He spent several years in displaced persons camps, where he began the slow process of healing. There, he formed close bonds with fellow survivors—relationships that provided strength and understanding that only those who endured such suffering could fully comprehend. Eventually, Menashe immigrated to Israel, a new nation offering hope and a fresh start for many Holocaust survivors. He helped build the country in its early days, contributing to its growth with a tireless work ethic and a fierce belief in the Jewish people’s right to live in peace and safety.
