Soon, he diversified into trading cotton, wool, gold, and silver, expanding his reach and influence. His reputation as a fair and honest trader grew rapidly. His commitment to ethical business practices earned him the title of “Sheikh,” a mark of deep respect in the community. His dealings with the Shahsevan tribe, one of Persia’s most prominent nomadic communities, further solidified his status as a trusted merchant, particularly in the trade of wool.
